The article is dedicated not only and not so much about different aspects of educational system, but mainly about human’s place in it. What motivates high school students to receive education and to continue their educational activities – it is the main question that the author tries to find the answer to. The article gives a serious theoretical analysis which is dictated by the logic of the concept “motivation” appearing in human sciences: psychology, pedagogy and sociology.
