Группы молодежи с различным уровнем стартового среднего образования имеют разные возможности получения дальнейшего образования и в тенденции достигают различных уровней социального благополучия и личной удовлетворенности своим положением. Названные процессы анализируются на материалах лонгитюдного социологического исследования (1998–2008 гг.) жизненных путей выпускников средних школ, средних специальных учебных заведений и профессиональных училищ Новосибирской области . Abstract Research on the relationship between education and occupational career of youth in Russia shows that the type of secondary educational institution from which people initially graduate has a lengthy and latent differentiating influence on their accumulation of educational capital and their educational and professional trajectories. The groups with varying levels of starting education have different opportunities to acquire further education and tend to achieve different levels of both material and personal well-being.
